Side Temple worships Matsu and Wu Liou Fu Ciansuei and is the belief center of Sihu Village. Because it is too old and too small for the temple fair activities, villagers enthusiastically donated more than nine million NT dollars to rebuild and expand the temple, which was completed in Dec. 2001. 
A lot of wood cravings and stone carvings can be seen in the new temple. All of them come from Mainland China.
