Jhutoujiao Old Family Compound

　Jhutoujiao Old Family Compound belongs to the famous Chen clan and has a grand look with the characters “Chen Shun Jhang’s Store” on the wall of the entrance. 
Jhutoujiao Old Family Compound is decorated with unique vertical bar windows on its fence, which were rarely seen and very distinctive. Its interior structures, such as Cingshuei brick and stone pillars are well preserved. However, the off-springs want to protect their ancestors’ cultural assets by barring the living room with iron windows, thus doing some damages to the construction.
