The Glutinous Rice Workshop was established from the old Center for the Cultural Promotion of Glutinous Rice Industry. It is located in a re-designed vacant space to showcase the rebranding of Puyan village as the Hometown of the Glutinous Rice. The entrance features the three-dimensional work of world-renowned “brick” expert, Mr. Nian Jincheng. “Harvest,” the name of this masterpiece, is a tribute to the hard-working farmers who toil day after day and a symbol of a prosperous year. This further emphasizes Puyan village’s position as the hometown of glutinous rice and has become a landmark and important post for the township’s industries, recreational activities, and tourists. The founding of Dao Xiang Leisure Farm marks the establishment of Puyan township’s first agriculture-themed leisure farm. With the aroma of rice in the air, the farm is irresistible for recreation and tourism.
