By the ditch of Wusian Temple in Taiping Village, grows a banyan with five trunks growing together, which were thought to represent five deities worshipped in the temple. Local residents consider it a marvel.
According to local residents, no one found the banyan in the ditch. It was found only when its branches reached over the ditch. The biggest trunk of the five is thought to represent Wusian Great Emperor the temple worships.
The temple personnel also found, to their surprise, the position of these trunks happens to be perpendicular to the temple border post and the height of these trunks is never over that of the temple threshold. Though no one takes care of the trunk, it grows very well. The temple personnel must get the approval from the deities by throwing blocks before doing some trimming for the banyan.
